TURBOWORKSHOP are the workshops throughout the year where you have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the performing arts with a dedicated professional actor and with other young performers who love the performing arts.
TURBOWORKSHOP is organised by Egnsteatret in collaboration with Næstved Music School and the Theatre School in Pavillon K, and is supported by Kulturstrømmen and is for all young people from across the Storstrøm Region.

YOU CAN CHOOSE BETWEEN THESE 4 WORKSHOPS:
Acting technique with Christina Bech for the experienced – 15+
Come to a workshop with Christina Bech who, with her extensive experience as a professional actress and teacher, will guide you to a deeper understanding of being on stage. For what does it really mean to be present and listen to your fellow actor?
We will be working with small scenes, sequences, and basic acting technique; listening, following impulses, and focusing on fellow actors. Christina trained at the Acting School at Odense Theatre from 2005-2009, and has since worked freelance in theatre, film, TV, and as a teacher at Teatret Masken.

Aerial Hoop Workshop for Beginners (11+)
Dreaming of trying your hand at aerial hoop? This workshop is for beginners aged 11 and up, and requires no prior experience. During the workshop, you will be introduced to the basic techniques of aerial hoop (aerial acrobatics in a hoop). We will work on simple exercises, spins, and short sequences, focusing on strength, body control, balance, and play in the air – all within a safe and supportive environment.
Ida Kubach has worked with aerial and circus at AFUK (The Academy for Untamed Creativity), and before AFUK she was a regular part of Næstved Avantgarden's artists.
The workshop is a fun and challenging way to move and gives participants the opportunity to experience the joy of circus and aerial hoop – regardless of physical level.
Important practical information:
Clothing: Long trousers and a long-sleeved shirt are recommended to protect the skin

Movement workshop with Kompagni 47 for all levels (11+)
Beginning with street dance, the workshop will challenge both motor skills and imagination through different qualities from the dance world – tutting, waving, threading and more. The workshop is adapted for the individual and is therefore for everyone who wants to move and be creative – from beginners to advanced participants.
Important practical information:
Clothing: Loose clothing is recommended for ease of movement.

PARAKROBATIK WORKSHOP WITH TILDA AND VIKTOR for All Levels 13+
Come and join us as we dive into the techniques of partner acrobatics, as well as creative ways to use them, with a partner or in smaller groups. We will go through the acrobatics with an extra focus on how to “spot” (ensure no one gets hurt) and how to continue training the techniques after the workshop. Tilda and Viktor are trained at the Finnish circus school in Lahti and have taught partner acrobatics both at home and abroad.

Whether you are an experienced gymnast, dancer or just curious to try something new, you are warmly welcome. Come and train with us, get a sweat on – and be inspired to play with balance, strength and cooperation!

Important practical information: Wear or bring workout clothes without too many zips and buttons.
