EXQUIS CADAVRE
Dance workshop presentation in Pavilion K on Friday 17 January at 19:00! Choreography. Artist Talk. Drinks.Huset is currently hosting a residency for three exciting young dancers and choreographers: Madeleine Cole (GB/DK), Enzo Hacquin (FR/DK) and Sarah Olivia Klitgaard (DK).
Their research project, CADAVRE EXQUIS (Exquisite Corpse), is a series of co-created works that explore new hierarchies in the creative process. Three works, three choreographers from three different countries, created for three different contexts: a museum, a public space and a black box.
They focus on the latter during their residency in Pavilion K.
They embrace co-creation by creating each work in sequence: one choreographer begins, another continues, and the third finishes. In doing so, they explore how to share the responsibilities and frustrations of choreographing while benefiting from each other's skills and experiences.
The group will present their work on Friday 17 January at 19:00. A 30-minute dance show, followed by Q&A and a drink!
Admission is free of charge. Everyone is welcome!
The residency programme is organised by Pavillon K and supported by the Danish Arts Foundation and Vordingborg Municipality.
