How do we see each other in society? Who are we when we are not working, performing or producing? In a world where people are measured in efficiency and value is measured in dollars and cents, nine citizens do the most radical thing: They do nothing. They are just being themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
CITIZENS is a living art exhibition by Hangar People and Kristj\u00e1n Ingimarsson Company, where nine citizens - each with their own background - are exhibited in the centre of the city space. Here, people themselves become the artwork. The audience is invited to observe, reflect and interact and to see, be curious, mirror themselves, and perhaps realise their own role in society anew.<\/p>\n\n\n
